Samuel Gbaydee Doe
In this interview, Robtel Neajai Pailey ‘03 talks with fellow Liberian Sam Doe, a ’95 Caux Scholar who is currently working with the United Nations in Sri Lanka. Sam returned in many consecutive summers following his first experience with CSP to serve as an intern and then member of the faculty. He talks about how the program has evolved and his own vision of “Hope for Africa,” which developed out of contacts with other Africans in Caux while he was in graduate school in the U.S. The West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP), which Sam helped found, grew out of this vision. He also talks about the Sri Lankan conflict and the challenges it presents, as well as prospects for Liberia’s reconstruction.

Submitted by marry davidson on Tue, 19/01/2010 - 10:19.
The course will run from July 6th through August 5th. The four weeks will hold approximately forty hours of academic classes, six to seven hours per week of “Service for Leadership” practical work, a field trip to Geneva and full participation in the Caux Forum for Human Security.
The Caux Scholars Program focuses on the moral and spiritual dimensions of peacebuilding and on the relationship between individual transformation and change in the world. It offers students conflict analysis tools and resolution skills. Students have the opportunity to explore the role individuals can play in bringing healing and in building a future where peace, justice and individual freedom flourish. The course examines the personal, religious, social and cultural factors which create and sustain conflict, as well as how to deal with differences.Blogs are always a main source of getting accurate information and provide you the handy results; you can get instant and reliable information which surely helps you in any field of your concern. I am post graduate in IT and HR. These days I am doing preparation of different online certifications and I found mcsa 2003 guide is the best helping source which is providing 100% authentic material. I also spend my extra time in surfing internet, listening music and playing games. After my exams I would like to join your group.
